- ChartHop includes an AI-powered conversational experience called Ask ChartHop, available in both the web and mobile applications. It allows leaders, HR teams, managers, and every employee to ask natural-language questions about their workforce and receive clear, data-backed responses.
You can ask about headcount changes, organizational structure, compensation trends, or workforce health, or recommended working styles between two individuals. ChartHop AI uses a Show Your Work methodology. Every AI-generated response is presented alongside rendered views such as Data Sheets, Dashboards, and Org Charts. This allows HR professionals and managers to easily validate insights, understand where conclusions come from, and review the raw information themselves. The AI remains a guide, not an authority.
Built on trust, permissions, and privacy
- ChartHop AI only has access to the information a user is authorized to view. It follows the same role-based access controls and privacy rules already in place in ChartHop. If a user cannot see certain data, the AI cannot see or use it either. This ensures insights are always appropriate, secure, and aligned with existing permissions.
ChartHop does not train its AI models on individual customer data to create generalized predictions about people. Instead, models operate in real time using the customer’s existing data as context to answer questions, highlight trends, and support analysis within that specific organization. By design, ChartHop AI minimizes the risk of unauthorized data exposure; it does not share sensitive information across roles, nor does it use an organization’s private workforce data to train or improve public AI models.

- ChartHop AI does not make employment decisions, but it can take meaningful action to support your work. It can generate reports, create charts and graphs, and draft headcount plans based on your inputs and data.
